Linking TestCases with UserStories in Azure TestPlans

We can also create TestCases independently of TestPlans & Userstories and add the TestCases to the User Stories as well as tot he Test Suites. Let us see in the below steps about how to link TestCases with UserStories

Step 1: Go to the UserStory in which you have to link the TestCase

Step 2: Go to links and then click on “Add Link” and then choose the Existing Item

Step 3: Choose the Link Type as “Tested By” and then enter the Testcase workitem id as shown below and then choose the TestCase. Then click on “Ok”

Step 4: Once you click on “Ok”, the testcase would be linked with the User story as shown and then it can be added as part of the Requirement Suite
