Locking a Terraform workspace in Terraform Cloud
When you don’t want other users to do or redeploy the changes in the Cloud via a workspace, then you can lock your workspace and it would help accidental runs and deployments to a great extent. To lock a workspace, you must be a owner of the workspace and once you have necessary permissions, follow the below steps
Step1 : Go to the workspace which you want to be locked
Step2: Then click on “Actions”
Step3: And click on Lock Workspace as shown

Step4: If a workspace is locked, you won’t be able to initiate a run unless it is unlocked as shown
Step5: Even if you click on run, it will display a message as shown below
