TF31002 Unable to connect | Azure DevOps Server

You may receive this error when you try to connect to Azure DevOps Server. This error mainly occurs to due to any of the following reasons that are listed below (that ranges from Password to incorrect url). Once you fix any of the errors below you would be able to connect without any issues

The reasons are

  • Password might have expired
  • Incorrect project url for Azure DevOps Server
  • Visual Studio Client version is different from Azure DevOps server version
  • Firewall might be blocking Azure DevOps services
  • Issue with TFS Proxy server
