You don’t have permission to edit a workitem type – Azure DevOps Error

Full Error:
You don’t have permission to edit a workitem type.Please contact your collection administrator for the appropriate permissions

Solution:
This error usually occurs when the user is not part of Project Collection Admin.Only those users who have Organizational Admin rights will be able to edit the workitem of any project.

For Stakeholders – their licenses needs to be changed to basic and they should be added to Project Collection Admin group
